Red Carpet Floor Care is now certified in Carpet Color Repair. We can dye those ugly bleach spots or stains on your carpet back to their original color!
Bleach spots are spots that actually have color removed. They can be caused by a variety of sources. The most common source is from pet stains. If pet urine sits too long on carpet it turns from an acid to an alkaline and can actually bleach the carpet. Those yellow stains that your cleaner might not have been able to remove might not be from the yellow color in the pet urine, they probably are a result of the urine actually removing color from the carpet. They often will show up as yellow spots, though.
Bleach spots on carpet also can be the result of using oxyclean products or cleaners, toilet bowl cleaner, chlorine, or acne medication. It is important to understand that no cleaning can get rid of bleach spots, the only way to fix them is by dyeing the carpet back to its original color.
Bleach stain carpet dyeing also works for sun fading. It’s even quite possible to dye a whole room of carpet a new color!
Be Aware: don’t fall for the “do it yourself” gimmicks offered on the internet. They do not work. Color stain repair takes certification and testing, an eye for color, as well as extensive practice. It must be practiced regularly. It is both a science and an art.
