A: Keep pets, children and regular traffic off of the carpet for a period of 2 hours. The home owner may use the carpet lightly immediately after cleaning by wearing the shoe covers we provide. Wait 12 hours before removing foam blocks and paper tabs that are put in place to protect your furniture and carpet.

Q: Do you clean Berber?

A: Absolutely! Berber is a weave, not a particular type of fabric. Berber is simply a type of loop construction that may come in olefin, nylon, wool, or a blend. Berber requires a more thorough cleaning than other carpets because the "flushing" action needs to take place to get under, around, and through the loops.

Q: Why do stains and traffic patterns keep coming back? Can you solve this problem?

A: YES we can! Recurring stains and traffic patterns occur as a result of improper cleaning by leaving soap and oily residue in the carpet. This residue attracts and absorbs soil, dust and contaminants in the air. This dirty residue then gets tracked onto the rest of the carpeted area, resulting in an overall dull and dirty film coating the carpet fibers.

Q: Why is Hydramaster RX-20 better than a wand?

A: The manual scrub wand is a good cleaning tool for cleaning lightly soiled carpet. When cleaning more heavily soiled carpet, the wand becomes a "beast of burden". Cleaning results depend upon the strength, stamina, and technique of the person working the wand. The repetitive motion of cleaning heavily soiled carpets with a scrub wand is extremely strenuous and fatiguing.
